Great thing about gaming conventions is that you get a chance to actually meet the people that make the games we play. We were lucky to sit down with Wildstar developers at GamesCom 2014 and get all the footage you’ve been seeing on our website in the past few days. We kept the best thing as last though. We got to sit down and talk to mrs. Megan Starks, Senior Game Designer on WildStar. We got to discuss content updates and whether Carbine plans to continue the update cadence they had so far. We got her to answer one of the questions asked by a Wildstar redditor. We even got her to reveal what she and her team are working on next! You can check all of it out in our video interview bellow:
During GamesCom 2014, largest Europen gaming convention, we had the pleasure of getting some exclusive info on upcoming content updates for Wildstar. Wildstar will have its first seasonal event for Halloween! Event is called Shade’s Eve and it will feature completely revamped capital cities, instances with easy bosses and a realm wide event for all to participate in. We were also shown short footage about the new Ice Box arena and Protostar Games dungeon. You can view all of this footage in the video bellow
Carbine Studios once again released impressive video for their upcoming MMORPG title WildStar. This time in the focus was WildStar customization that already looks like one of the best we’ve seen so far.

If you missed the Engineer livestream this past weekend, or just want to rewatch it, the whole stream is now available on Wildstar’s YouTube channel. It’s a great way to see the new class in action and to get a sense of how it will be played in game. Give the video a watch, and let us know what you think of the Engineer in the comments below.
The Engineer has finally been shown, and damn if it doesn’t look cool. From close range tanking with a massive power suit, to long range DPS with an awesome looking rocket launcher, the Engineer can do a little bit of everything. Throw in some cool bots for support and you have a one person army who is ready for any situation.
Check out the DevSpeak and take a look at the Engineer for yourself, then let us know if you’re as excited about the class as we are in the comments below.
The Medic livestream is up and ready to view on YouTube. Check it out if you missed the live presentation, and let us know what makes you most excited about the Medic in the comments below!
