Check Out The Engineer In The Latest DevSpeak

The Engineer has finally been shown, and damn if it doesn’t look cool. From close range tanking with a massive power suit, to long range DPS with an awesome looking rocket launcher, the Engineer can do a little bit of everything. Throw in some cool bots for support and you have a one person army who is ready for any situation.

Chad Moore Lore and Paths Interview

During Arkship EU 2013 we had immense pleasure of talking with Mr. Chad Moore, Lead Narrative Designer on Wildstar. His team and he are responsible for many different things in the game and keeping it all in line with the overall lore of planet Nexus and creatures that inhabit or try to conquer it. We managed to find out more about what a Lead Narrative Designer and his team do in an MMORPG where we have a completely new setting. We also managed to pick his brain about game mechanics that adhere to the lore buffs out there, so we discussed Datacubes, Journals and other lore collectibles and their impact on the player and his game experience. We also touched on the subject of the Scientist, path that has not yet been discussed in great detail.
We know the quality of the video could have been less blurry and we had additional technical difficulties, but I think the contents of the interview more than make up for it. We would like to thank Mr. Chad Moore for taking the time to talk to us and sharing some of his Wildstar stories.

Celestial Tender

Celestial Tender is a collection achievement, that can be completed once you collect a Celestial Lily in Sylvan Glade in Celestion. Upon collecting this glowing flower, Florist Merriflower will contact you and tell you to visit her in Sylvan Glade. Achievement itself was completed the moment I collected the flower, and when I visited Florist, it just disappeared from my inventory.

Carbine Promises Big Reveals And Upcoming Beta Testing

WildStar has been one of the most exciting games to follow in it’s development. The level of fan interaction, reveals, and general flair they have brought to the process has been putting other games currently in development to shame (I’m looking at you ESO). This made it strange, however, when carbine seemed to grow somewhat quiet over the past couple of months. There was still the great fan interaction, but very little new news was coming out about the game. It turns out they had a very good reason, and are planning to make up for lost time in a big way.

The team at Carbine had been hard at work over the past few months getting the game ready for its next stage of development. Now that they have reached that stage they are ready to show off all the new things they have been working on. Not only that, but the team is planning on streaming some gameplay on Twittch, which is something everyone can get excited about. And, to top it all off, they announced that the next round of beta testing will be starting in December.

You can read about all the upcoming fun after the break. If you’re as excited as we are be sure to let us know in the comments below. Continue reading

Best WildStar Addons

wildstar best addons
A few days ago I came across a great thread on reddit about WildStar must have addons. I decided to test some of them and they really changed my gameplay. In the list below you’ll find their descriptions, and links to download pages. I also added my notes about some of them. I didn’t post any observation about Quests and Leveling addons, because they are very similar, and it’s up to you which one will suite you best. I also created a guide how to install WildStar addons. If I missed any great addon, please let me know in the comments below.
