This list consists of descriptions and solutions for WildStar error codes you might encounter while jumping into Nexus world. Most of the problems can be resolved by disabling your firewall, running the WildStar as an Admin or updating computer drivers. The list will be updated regularly as new information are added.
 

Access violation writing location 0x00000000 error

The issue seems to be caused by bad graphics card drivers, the first thing you can do is re-install or update your own graphics card drivers.

WildStar Livestream on Saturday features Adventures

Carbine Studios will host yet another Wildstar Livestream this Saturday! The Development team will to go through and try to complete one of the recently announced Adventures.

It’s time for another WildStar livestream! With all the buzz surrounding Adventures from last week, we’re going to be bringing the entire Adventures team onto the livestream to valiantly attempt to defeat one of their own instances!

The Carbine Adventures team will consist of Senior Community Manager, David Bass and Design Producer, Stephen Frost. Wildstar Livestream will start this Saturday, March 1st, at 12:00PM PST (that’s 20:00 GMT or 21:00 CET) on official WildStar Twitch channel.

WildStar lifted its NDA for everyone and announced Release Date

It’s official, WildStar release date is set for June 3, 2014, and as of right this moment, the NDA is lifted. There is only a few more months until you can visit planet Nexus. Pre-orders for WildStar begin on March 19th, and offer the following bonuses: 3 days head start access, access to Beta Weekends, exclusive Rocket House, exclusive Housing Trophy, In-game Storage Bag, and more!

Wildstar Life updated to 6760

Several days ago the first major content update for Wildstar has been made available to players. Affectionately called the Strain update it updates the game build to 1.0.9.6760. We have two new zones to play with and earn Elder Gems in. Enormous amount of fixes and adjustments have been made as well and you can read about it all in the patch notes we posted a few days ago.

What we wanted you to know is that we updated Wildstar Life with information from the latest Live client build. Our Wildstar item database now has new items from this patch (166 items have been added in comparison to older client build and an unknown number has been updated). Fact is that many items needed for the Strain update have been present in previous client builds so there was no need to add an enormous number of items when the patch dropped, but all of that data has been polished for the launch of this update. There are new housing decor items and costumes available, but we’ll discuss those in another article.

New quests have been added due to new zones being introduced. You can now see all quests available in the new zone Blighthaven, and we added screenshot walkthroughs for most of them. Same goes for Northern Wastes and its quests.

Last, but not least, we have updated our Action Set Builder with the latest patch data. Both amp and skill tooltips have been updated. We did not disable old builds this time, so they are all still available, but you might want to update them due to some of the balance changes.

Datacube, Journal and Tale maps didn’t need an update because most of the data was already present previously. You should check out our Blighthaven Datacubes, Journals and Tales Locations page, which contains a map and screenshot guides for locations of all collectibles in the new Blighthaven zone.

Leveling Guide for Exiles & Dominion

Leveling in WildStar can be slow if you don’t know where to go or what to do next. The following text is a very brief, straightforward, leveling guide, that includes mob levels for each Exile and Dominion map, and provides a list of unlocks available at certain levels. We recommend that you thoroughly read leveling tips listed below this table, because they point out what you should focus on while leveling.

Important notes:

  1. If you activate WildStar Two-Step Verification you’ll get Progression Boosts: 2% Increase to Experience, Renown, and Prestige gain
  2. Stormtalon’s Lair, Ruins of Kel Vorath, Skullcano and Sanctuary of the Swordmaiden dungeons can be walked into 3 levels earlier, but cannot be queued for in the group finder until the listed level. You have to discover their entrance first.
