While adventuring through Farside, players will come across 11 rare mobs. In the subzone Bio-Dome 3 you’ll find 4 rares, another four in the subzone Bio-Dome 4, and two rares on the main Farside map. The last one – Doctor Rotthrall is hidden in the subzone Derelict Silo E23. After defeating all rares, you will complete achievement “I like it rare: Farside” listed under Achievement » Kill » Farside. Rare Mobs in Daily Zones
There are 4 rare mobs you can encounter while adventuring through Crimson Badlands and Northern Wastes. Two of them are found in Crimson Badlands and the other two are in Northern Wastes.
After defeating all rares, you will complete the achievement “I Like it Rare: Crimson Badlands” and “I Like it Rare: Northern Wastes” listed under Achievement » Kill » Crimson Badlands / Northern Wastes. In the table below, you’ll find the list of all rare mobs available in Daily Zones, their spawn locations with coordinates, and possible loot. Loot shown bellow is specific to those creatures. You can also expect these creatures to drop, in rare occasions, loot like Sign of Earth, Air, Logic, Fire … Rune Fragments, Starloom Clothes and similar. Rare Mobs in Northern Wastes also drop item Encrypted Datashard needed for IMBUEMENT: Data Recovery .

Rare Mobs in Containment Facility R-12, Northern Malgrave
While adventuring through Containment Facility R-12, Northern Malgrave, players will come across 3 rare mobs. Although Malgrave is level 40-45 leveling zone, all Rare Mobs are level 50, and can be found in Northern Malgrave in close vicinity of Containment Facility R-12 area.
After defeating all rares, you will complete achievement “I like it rare: Containment Facility R-12” listed under Achievement » Kill » Containment Facility R-12. Rare Mobs in Blighthaven
There are 16 rare mobs you can encounter while adventuring through Blighthaven (previously known as Northern Grimvault). Blighthaven is a new zone introduced with the first major content update for Wildstar (Strain update). You can reach this zone from western Grimvault.
After defeating all rares, you will complete the achievement “I like it rare: Blighthaven” listed under Achievement » Kill » Grimvault. In the table below, you’ll find the list of all rare mobs available in Blighthaven, their spawn locations with coordinates, and possible loot.
The most interesting thing about rares in Blighthaven is that almost all of them drop unique items with Imbuements on them. Equiping this type of item will give you a new Imbuement task. Finishing this task (one of them asks you to kill Gnowsdower – rowsdower we’ve seen in the Strain Trailer) causes the item to receive an upgrade that comes in a form of increased stats, new type of upgrade (like increased life steal), increased Support Power and Focus Recovery or similar…

PvP Details about Arenas and Battlegrounds
The latest WildStar DevSpeak focuses on Arenas and Battlegrounds and finally reveals additional information about PvP features. The interesting thing is that both features have much in common:
- They can be played in either open or rated mode.
- They both reward you with PvP vendor currency known as Prestige.
- In open PvP world after being ganked, you respawn with 30 seconds of PvP invulnerability, unless you attack someone
- Rated matches give you rating-specific rewards and allow ELO matchmaking (ELO is a measure of your strength calculated from your performance in rated PvP. ).
- Levels and gear stats are normalized, in this way balanced matches will let you focus on crucial things in PvP like avoiding telegraphs and fast reacting.
Preview of Northern Wilds Adventure
We already wrote couple of times about WildStar Adventures, a re-playable five people instances. Well we also wrote that Adventures stray from typical dungeons content a lot because they are open-ended. Compared to that, Northern Wilds Adventure is even more different from everything else we saw in MMORPG genre, thus far.
It quickly became popular among players of the beta, so IGN decided to talk more about it with Stephen Frost.
