Stormtalon Wildstar Wednesday

Stormtalon

What is Wildstar Wednesday? For those following Wildstar avidly for months the answer is known, but for you folks just discovering this game let me explain what Wildstar Wednesday is. It is an article series created by Carbine where you can read stuff like Pope-a-telli (when referring to Mike Donatelli), where Notch is mentioned (developer of Minecraft) and where you find out that Poptart is the name of the first Wildstar closed beta test character (allegedly). All this and much more was related to us through the Wildstar Wednesday article posted on the official Wildstar website by none other than eremy “Gaffer” Gaffney. You can read the full article here and if you last ’till the end you’ll notice that the name of the first announced Wildstar dungeon is Stormtalon and those attending Arkship EU will get to play it (more about that in our next article)!

State of the Beta Article Reveals Some Big Changes

Today in a post concerning the state of beta testing it was revealed that there are some big changes in store for a couple of core features of WildStar. The changes discussed revolved around character progression and the questing system.

The short version of this announcement is that the developers want to include more player choice when it comes to evolving your character. The second, and larger, change involves a major overhaul of the questing system and how XP is distributed in groups.

The Stalker WildStar Livestream postponed

The Stalker Livestream that was originally planned for tomorrow will be moved for the next Saturday.

In his post on twitter, David Bass a.k.a. CRB_Scooter said the main reason for this sudden decision is his illness.

Thought I was getting better, but this illness got way worse today. Going to have to postpone the stream this weekend, sorry all!

This is the second time the mentioned Livestream is getting delayed since the Carbine team decided to push it back after the holidays. Finally, Carbine said the Livestream will definitely happen on Saturday, January 18th at 12PM PST.

Stalker AMPs Locations

AMPs system is part of WildStar Action set builder, where you can put AMPs points in six different parts – Assault, Support, Utility and 3 Hybrids. Tier 1 AMPs are unlocked by default, when you collect enough AMP points, but AMPS Tier 2 and Tier 3 are locked, and players have to unlock AMPs with corresponding AMP items first. The AMP rewards are completely random across all classes, but the Tiers are rewarded based on level. You can obtain them as random mob drops, challenge rewards, or simply buy them from vendors.

Link to our detailed AMPs guide and vendor AMP Locations for other classes.

In the table below you can find locations for all Stalker Amps, for both factions Exile and Dominion. By clicking on the links in the Vendor columns you can see map location for each vendor. You can also search the table by choosing vendor name, or location from drop down menus at the top of the table.
