WildStar Spellslinger Class

WildStar Spellslinger
Spellslingers are deadly and dangerous pistoleers, often found beyond the Fringe working as bounty hunters, bodyguards, and guns-for-hire. Spellslingers fight with a unique style that’s a lethal combination of magic, reflexes and instinct – making them some of the most feared combatants in the galaxy.

By wielding specially designed mag pistols, Spellslingers manipulate arcane energy to create powerful magic sigils – greatly increasing their accuracy and infusing their projectiles with destructive power.
 
Along with their deadly weapons, WildStar Spellslingers also use acrobatic agility to quickly move around the battlefield – positioning themselves to inflict the most damage upon their enemies. These deadly abilities, coupled with steely-eyed resolve, make the Spellslinger a truly frightening foe in battle.

Introducing Mondo and Victor

Last week Carbine Studios finally revealed the final two playable races for WildStar, the Chua and the Mordesh. This week we are getting a look at a couple major characters that hail from these races; Mondo Zax, a devilish Chua who is a genius when it comes to machines, and Victor Lazarin, the alchemist that inflicted the Mordesh people with the Contagion that essentially makes them space zombies.

WildStar Renown Social Currency

Renown is a social currency which is gained whenever a player groups up with others to complete content anywhere in the game. Players who don’t enjoy grouping can generate renown by completing content on their housing property.

When you group up with different Circles of your friends you get bonus like earning renown which can be use for creating a guild, or purchasing a variety of housing-related items, as well as some other interesting rewards.


Say Hello To The Final Two Races!

The team at Carbine Studios has finally revealed the long awaited final races players will be able to play as in WildStar, the Chua and the Mordesh. The Chua are diabolical little creatures that fight for the Dominion, while the Mordesh look a lot like space zombies and have joined the Exiles.

WildStar Uplink: Talking About Player Housing

There are lots of things for gamers to be excited about when it comes to WildStar. The idea of a completely new IP is always exiting, especially considering the humor and unique combat options the development team is putting into the game. But there is one aspect about the game that players have been discussing with a lot of anticipation; player houses.

In this week’s WildStar Uplink players were encouraged to contact the community team on twitter and just talk about what they want from player housing. What are they excited about? What do they play to use their house for? What kind of features did they want to see included in the player housing aspect of the game? Well the fans wasted no time in answering these questions and more, and the WildStar team was thoughtful enough to talk about the whole thing on the official WildStar site.
