As you already know Carbine team introduces 2-Step Verification as additional verification step, that will increase the level of security on player’s account. Once activated, this feature also offers in-game goodies like 2% XP, Renown, and Prestige bonus, Cybernetic Eyepatch costume piece, and Certifiably Certified title.
But starting July 10th, anyone with an active 2-Step Verification attached to their account gets one of the sweetest rides on Nexus, the Retroblade Mount. If you’re already enrolled in 2-Step, you will automatically receive the Retroblade Mount in your Account Inventory by July 10. The New and Improved Spellslinger
I like to imagine the idea for the Spellslinger came out of brainstorming session devoted to making the idea of a cowboy in space even more appealing. It’s not necessary an easy task at first glance, some of the most iconic and recognizable sci-fi characters define what a space cowboy truly is. Then the folks over at Carbine studios, geniuses that they are, said “Let’s give them magic pistols!” And thus the Spellslinger was born.

New daily zone coming to Wildstar – Star-Comm Basin
Wildstar was playable on the show floor of GamesCom 2014 on both Twitch and Alienware booths and the demo shown on those computer had a brand new land for players to explore. This zone is called Star-Comm Basin and it will be a new daily zone in the game, coming with one of the future content drops. Zone is a level 50 version of Levian Bay and it brings new rewards and ways for you to earn Eldan gems. Mark Hulmes, EU English community manager was kind enough to walk us through the demo of the zone and you can see some gameplay footage (including some PvP) as well as some of the reputation rewards you can earn by replying daily quests in this zone in the video bellow:
Mount Vendor Locations
WildStar mounts are in form of creatures and vehicles, and can be bought from various vendors: mount vendor, renown vendor, reputation vendor, or end game vendor. Playing with different customization items, will make your mount look completely different compared to other mounts, but don’t forget that mounts bought from mount vendor cannot be customized.

WildStar currency
Renown – is earned through social activities such as playing in a group or mentoring.
Elder Gems – are acquired using Elder Points earned at level cap. 75,000 Elder Points = 1 Elder Gem
Prestige – is earned by defeating enemy players and completing PVP objectives.
Platinum = 100 Gold

Megaservers going live today
NCSoft has announced today the implementation of their new megaservers, which they hope will improve the games’ online functionality. All realms will be down for maintenance from Wednesday, October 15th at 5:00 Pacific Time, for a period of 12 to 24 hours. The players will be rewarded with a day worth of free play time, as well as Boom-Boxes (One per day for 30 days). All character above level 3 will be moved with all their stuffs. All guilds, arena teams, circles, mail and auction items will also be moved to the new 4 servers:

Beware that all characters below level 3 not logged-in in the last 30 days will be deleted.
Since some characters will have duplicate names, NCSoft has announced the addition of surnames, which you will be prompted to fill in once you login to the game. When guild naming conflict exists, the oldest guild with the conflicted name will have the priority over the younger guilds.
You can refer to the official FAQ for any unanswered question that you have.
Meeting Dr. Mondo
Last week we were introduced to the Chua race, a cuddly little species that seems to have some slight homicidal based sanity issues. In order to get to know these adorably little psychopaths better we have been treated to a lovely interview with Dr. Mondo, head of weapons development for the entire Dominion. We can only hope that the interview doesn’t self-destruct when we are done reading it.

Medic Is The Focus Of The Latest Class Drop
It’s been a big day for WildStar fans due to the announcement of the final two classes, the Medic and the Engineer. Both classes look like a lot of fun, but this week the focus is all about the Medic. That means you can learn a whole lot more about the class by checking out its official class page, and by tuning into the AMA reddit on Thursday and the livestream showing off the new class on Saturday.
