Not true, the open beta is closed. The beta access is now reserved for people who pre-order. This means online through the NCSoft store or by putting money down at gamestop.

If you want to try it, pre-order at a Gamestop and put down a nominal amount, ($5) use the key they give you on your receipt to access the pre-order beta, play all weekend, then realize that the game is worth it and put down the rest of the cash asap!

So wait you are taking pre orders and are already charging people a monthly fee to maybe play this fame two weekends a month?

    1. Mountaindru

The monthly fee doesn’t first get charged until the first free month is used up after account is activated (after launch). So if you start on launch, which is may 31st if you pre-order, you will get the first 3 days free and then 30 after that with a recurring payment starting on the 2nd of July. So no, no one is being charged a monthly fee yet.

@David: No, Gamestop allows you to preorder games by putting a minimum deposit of $5.00 on the item. Doing so, counts towards a preorder and a Beta code will be printed on your receipt for each copy to reserve in this fashion. There is no fee associated with beta. Furthermore, if you don’t like what you see, this is refundable, although the game is pretty great and worth buying outright.

NC Create an Account = error message even though all fields are filled in properly … server too busy? Sad. Wanted to check out the game to see if it’s something my husband and I want to purchase. Guess not!

If you haven’t figured out the failed NC account yet, it’s your password. Although it gives you a green checkmark, it won’t accept a common password. Try adding a few more numbers and special characters like !! at the end of it.

I want to play so bad, I got a beta key in my email.
but then just to find out that I can only play on certain days…that kind of stupid.
all the other mmo iv gotten into for beta have had no restriction’s on play time.
