While adventuring through Farside, players will come across 11 rare mobs. In the subzone Bio-Dome 3 you’ll find 4 rares, another four in the subzone Bio-Dome 4, and two rares on the main Farside map. The last one – Doctor Rotthrall is hidden in the subzone Derelict Silo E23. After defeating all rares, you will complete achievement “I like it rare: Farside” listed under Achievement » Kill » Farside. Meldrid the Decrepit | Decrepitator Decrepitator | Coordinates: 1079, -1570 Level 31, 71k HP, like a true caster has many telegraphs. One of them Creeping Power grows in size around her. Clear mobs around her before starting the fight. |
Blisterbane | Blisster Blisster | Coordinates: Level 31, 77k HP, has strong but avoidable telegraphs like Snip, Snip, Snip, Sting and Poisonous Barrage – frontal cone telegraphs. He also casts series of attacks called Burrowing Ambush. When he starts casting these abilities, after 4 seconds, he’ll try to ambush a player, and you have to dodge it out. He can also make you blind, which makes even harder to avoid devastating telegraphs. |
Squall | Airhooks Airhooks | Coordinates: 4379, -1334 Level 32, 73k HP, air elemental, casts circle telegraphs that remain on the ground for a few seconds. This mob can also debuff you with Tether. Destroy Tether as soon as possible to avoid damage from devastating telegraphs. |
Flamesurge | Firefighter Firefighter | Coordinates: Level 32, 74k HP, flame elemental. While performing frontal telegraph – Ember Barrage, mob will pull player towards him. Frontal telegraph Molten Fists and large telegraph around him called Magma Slam is something you should be aware of. Flamesurge can be found in the area where you receive debuff “Heath Exposure”. You can track stacks of this debuff in the upper left corner of your screen. Don’t let it reach number 100. |
Flame-Binder Sorvel | Fireproofer Fireproofer | Coordinates: 4736, -1749 Level 33, 75k HP, like a true caster drops a lot of AOE range telegraphs. It’s hard to interrupt his abilities because of 2 interrupt armor. Telegraphs like Erupting Fissure (many small circle telegraphs) and Firestorm (large circle telegraph) are something you should avoid immediately. |

Doctor Rotthrall hides in pitch dark. He drops poisonous attacks like Ink Trail – small rectangle telegraph, ink fountain – circle telegraphs under player feet. Drops awesome looking head slot item. |
Kryne the Tidebreaker | Peacemonger Peacemonger | Coordinates: 3287, -6498 Level 35, 69k HP, 20k Shield, has powerful melee attacks. In combination with telegraphs like Aquatic Buffer (large circle telegraph, depletes breath bar if you stand on it), frontal cone telegraph Shellark Slash, and range telegraph Trident Strike, can be lethal for anyone who doesn’t pay attention. |
