Rare Mobs in Southern Grimvault

While adventuring through Southern Grimvault, players will come across 22 rare mobs. One of them The Vultch drops 16 slot inventory bag. After defeating all rares, you will complete achievement “I like it rare: Southern Grimvault” listed under Achievement » Kill » Grimvault. Level 46, 136k HP, performs strong melee telegraph – Defiling Spray, and range burrow telegraph – Tainted Rush. This mob can blind your character, and result can be lethal in combination with telegraphs.

Level 46, 131k HP, has probably the funniest and the most challenging telegraphs. Telegraph like Super Spin Cycle can surprise you with its size and movement path. It moves toward the player with large number of small circles. Telegraph Double Leap Shift is strong frontal cone telegraph where Whitefang jumps from one to another location. The simplest one – Vortex Surge, large AoE circle telegraph around the mob, is the most devastating one.

Level 46, 131k HP, peaceful little grazer. I almost felt sorry for him. Furios Charge – frontal cone telegraph charge, stun comes usually before this one, Dawn’s Glory – AoE circle around Lifegrazer, it’s a back leg kick.

Level 46, 131k HP, hides bellow large boulders. Siphon Swipe and Frenzy of the Feline are powerful frontal cone damage attacks. There is a high probability that your character will be stunned, while mob performs other telegraphs.

Level 47, 137k HP, a funny looking Medusa. Has strong but small frontal melee telegraphs. It is easy to avoid them.
The Lobotomizer

Level 47, 137k HP, found inside Creeping Caverns. Clear out the patrols and enemies near The Lobotimizer, because you’ll need extra space. The Lobotomizer performs telegraphs like Circumvention (cross telegraph around him that spins), Persistent Power (frontal cone charge). These telegraphs in a combination with blind skills may be lethal.
Abyss

Level 47, 137k HP, has powerful and fast frontal attacks and telegraphs.
Deadpaws

Level 47, 146k HP, a pretty strong rare mob considering that he doesn’t have muscles. If you are a melee damage dealer, keep moving in circles around him. You don’t want to be caught in his circle telegraphs – Rolling Rampage.
Alpha Guard One
Alpha Guard One Rare Mob in Southern Grimvault		Red Beta
Red Beta		Coordinates: 2821, -1200
Level 47, 114k HP, 33k Shield, can be found on top of a circular platform. The most powerful skills are Frontal cone charge – Acrobatic Dash, and a range attack that comes with large number of small circles – Energy Storm. Can stun very often, that makes avoiding telegraphs more challenging.
Alpha Guard Two
Alpha Guard Two Rare Mob in Southern Grimvault		Blue Beta

114k HP, 33k Shield, looks the same as Alpha Guard One, with same attacks and behavior.
Strainblade
Strainblade Rare Mob in Southern Grimvault		Strain Mail
Strain Mail		Coordinates: 1824, -1993
Level 47, 114k HP, 33k Shield, a powerful melee rare mob. Along with small frontal telegraphs like Demolition Shout and Triple Threat, you can expect a huge one as well.
Vorgrim
Vorgrim Rare Mob Strain Tunnels Entrance Location		Night Cap
Night Cap		Coordinates: 2074, -1942
Level 47, 146k HP, found inside Strain Tunnels. Has powerful large circle telegraphs around him like Blind Rampage and Gorge. Can disarm. Clear the area around him for some extra movement space. Be aware of his frontal cone telegraph Regurgitate.
The Vultch
The Vultch Rare Mob in Southern Grimvault		Carrion LuggageCoordinates: 1522, -474
Level 47, 141k HP, flying around. You can attack him when he comes close to one of the nearby hills. Has small but powerful telegraphs like Keen Talons (frontal cone), Razor Wind and Dive Bomb (circle telegraph around him). This mob can also make your character blind. This mob drops Carrion Luggage – a 16 slot bag. Although Carrion Luggage is an unique item, you can equip two Carrion Luggage bags at the same time.
Deathgrazer
Deathgraazer Rare Mob in Southern Grimvault		Deathkiss
Deathkiss		Coordinates: 2550, -795
Level 47, 141k HP, has similar abilities and behavior like his cousin Lifegrazer, although his look is “somehow” different. Clear out at least one Creeping Eyestalk near Deathgrazer in order to have more place to move around. Abilities you should be aware of are Corrupted Call (frontal cone charge), and Purulent Concuss (circle telegraph around him).
Infinimaw
Infinimaw Rare Mob in Southern Grimvault		Wooly Sham
Wooly Sham		Coordinates: 2447, 1021
Level 46, 131k HP, probably one of the easiest rare mobs in Southern Grimvault to defeat, but don’t forget to move away from his telegraphs as soon as possible.

      I wouldn’t say its unique, rather rare to find. I play medic and I kinda like a look of Nexian Rhapsody. This is the first time I am able to carry weapon beautiful like this one.

      Nevertheless you should definitely kill The Vultch for 16 slot bag. For some reason I am able to carry two of them, although they are unique…
